This was a feature story for HallandsPosten, a regional newspaper in the south of Sweden, where I was an entertainment editor for two summers.
In 1997, a flood disaster in Poland brought a number of children to Sweden to receive temporary housing with Swedish families. Since I speak Polish, I was able to interview the children about their experiences.
